The Pillars of Faith

Forgiveness & Honesty

Audiobook 7:24

Ding dong the bells, will ring

Remind us it’s time, to sing

          It is, Sunday school

          Don’t you, be uncool

Come celebrate, our King

Buddy & Max thought Sunday School, was cool

They were loved by all the students, in school

Each child when they, came in

Pet Buddy & Max on, the chin

Buddy & Max thought that was, super cool

The Bible story, today

The man went on, to say

Was about to power, to forgive

Anyone no matter, what they did

That is the, Lord’s way

Matthew 6:14

Jesus said forgive those who sin, against you

And your Heavenly Father will, forgive you

We all must learn to, forgive

          For what someone, else did

That was so bad to, offend you

Jesus forgave those while hanging, on the cross

That had mistreated him it, was their loss

They could have listen to his, preaching

They could have learned from his, teaching

The wages of sin come at, a high cost

John 3:16

For God sent us his, only son

To pay for the sins of, everyone

Who so ever believes, in Him

God will forgive them of, their sin

And will be with the Lord someday, in heaven

God had provided a way for man to, be forgiven

To make sure he had a way to join, Him in heaven

When we believe, in his son

          The race is, already won

Trusting the Lord you can, believe in Him

The story of Joseph was brought, back to mind

He forgave his brothers who, were unkind

He had the power, over his kin

He had the right, to punish them

But as for revenge Joseph, had no time

Buddy & Max listened to the stories, from the Bible

How many people relied on it for, their survival

They heard the words, of Jesus

And how the Lord see’s us

Forever with him in Heaven’s, great revival

Matthew 5:33-37

The man read what Jesus said about being, honest

In your speaking and always keeping your, promise

You are only as good as, your word

So don’t let the truth, get blurred

The Lord looks down on someone, dishonest

Luke 12:1-3

Jesus warns dishonesty will always be found out

And the whole truth will always come out

There will be only one to blame

The one that uses your name

A lie from a liar will always be found out

John 2:22

Liars denied that, Jesus is Christ

They deny that, He sacrificed

His life to save others from, punshiment

To spare us from God’s final, judgement

Jesus paid for us, the highest price

John 8:32

Jesus said the truth will, set you free

He taught the importance of, honesty

Always being, very truthful

Then your life will, be fruitful

With God’s blessing and, prosperity

Revelation 17:14

Satan told the first lie in the Garden of Eden

He will keep lying all the way to Armageddon

God will win that final, battle

And give his fanny a good, paddle

And we will never have, to see him

Buddy & Max knew to always, be honest

Nobody likes someone who is, dishonest

          Telling the truth is, important

And being honest is, for certain

A very good quality the, man promised

Forgiving and Honesty were, today’s lesson

Buddy & Max and the students, loved this session

They learned how to be a, better person

By doing two, things for certain

And a forgiving heart leaves a, good impression
