I believe that the Lord has been very good to me. He has let me be a part of “dancing next to the flame”, without letting me get burned too bad. Hind sight is 20/20. Only if we learn from our mistakes, can we ever learn how to run when we can only crawl. Any and all of the topics discussed will affect the quality of your performance. If you apply this knowledge to use, you will see the “QUICK CHANGE” with your band to “PROFESSIONALS”. My definition of a professional and successful entertainer is someone that gets paid each week for his services. I did not say how much.
There is one thing that I haven’t told you yet and now you are ready. Don’t let the DREAM die! Music has a place for everyone who is willing to do their best. Always play for the people. Let them tell you what you do best, and what not to do. If you honestly and humbly perform your best for them, they will themselves become allied to your work. Every song on the air today was somebody’s dream yesterday.
Well, there is life as I see it. You might not agree with me on everything but you can agree with this. No one knows a magic trick to make you more successful. But now you know what not to do, and that is half of the battle.
